  • We are looking for a Product Development & Approvals Assistant to support the Product Developers in their role. The ideal candidate:

 

  • Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Excel & other Microsoft Office packages.
  • Ability to prioritise own workload.
  • Excellent organisation.
  • Methodical in approaching tasks.
  • Very high attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication skills both written & oral.
  • An ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Work well in a team environment, as well as alone.

 

The main duties are:

 

  • Understand the Approvals process, requirements & systems for each Licensor, & fully manage this without support.
  • Work with licensors & factories regarding product & packaging approvals at concept & sample stages.
  • Maintain in house systems with accurate approval data, royalties, contractual agreements, brand set up & portfolios.
  • Send strike off samples to Licensor & Customers as & when required.
  • Monitor progress of packaging strike offs & when hard copies are received, pass them to Product Developer & Quality Manager for approval.
  • Ensure contractual samples are sent to licensor within the agreed time period. This will include chasing up factories & reclaiming contractuals from the warehouse.
  • Responsible for all samples being recorded on appropriate internal records & distributed to appropriate departments.
  • Maintain high standards of housekeeping of samples in the office.
  • Ensure all post & parcels are sent daily using the appropriate carrier.
  • Open & distribute incoming mail & parcels to the appropriate members of the PD & QA team
  • Supporting the PD team with other duties in line with role.
